About this series
The princess who conquered a kingdom for her brother retired to the countryside with her daughter. Eighteen years later, on her daughter's wedding day, she discovers the emperor has given her daughter's betrothed—a top scholar—to another woman, and the groom's mother wants her daughter as a concubine.
Enraged, she storms back to the capital, determined to get justice—even if it means hanging the emperor upside down and whipping him.
