About this series
Lawyer Claire wins her best friend Sunny's domestic violence case, then gets chased by the very man Sunny claimed to fear. While Claire bleeds behind a fire door, her fiance Ian is at home comforting Sunny.
As Claire uncovers the affair and the setup behind the attack, she turns every piece of evidence into a weapon and finally chooses a life where her pain is believed the first time.
