Awakened As Calamity, I Play The Fool

In a world shaped by 240 distinct Sequences, the first 180 belonged to Awakeners who maintained order, while the final 60 were Calamity Sequences that brought ruin and chaos. When the protagonist, He Xu, unexpectedly awakened Sequence 181, the warrior god Yang Jian—a Calamity Sequence—he instantly became a target hunted by every faction.

To survive, he disguised himself as Sequence 128, the poet-swordsman Li Bai, and joined a specialized organization to carry out dangerous missions. While keeping his true identity hidden, he steadily honed his strength, grappling with fellow Awakeners and outmaneuvering malevolent calamity forces. Driven to uncover the secrets behind the Sequences, he fought to carve out his own path of survival in a world rife with danger, protect those closest to him, and reveal the truth behind their reality.
