Synopsis

On the Dragon Continent, bloodline is everything. Pure dragon blood grants shifting forms and magic resistance. Those who can't shift are called Exiles — treated as slaves.

Kaelen, firstborn of the Red Dragon House, was born unable to shift. On the eve of his coming-of-age, his three brothers cut his tendons, stripped his inheritance, and took his fiancée. His father branded him a slave and exiled him to the Silent Deadfire Volcano. In the volcano's depths, disaster became blessing. The dragon blood within him awakened the ancient Progenitor Dragon God's inheritance. Over ten years, his severed bones regenerated, and he mastered world-destroying Dragon Tongue magic. Ten years later, holy war breaks out. The Red Dragon House faces extinction. Kaelen returns as a cold dragon hunter—identity hidden. One crisis after another forces his enemies to kneel. His former fiancée regrets everything. In the end, before the entire continent, he reveals his true form: the Progenitor Dragon, reclaiming his throne.
