Synopsis

Six years ago, after a one-night stand between the dragon king Kyle and the human princess Ella, Ella handed their daughter Laila over to Kyle to raise alone. When a coup erupts among the dragons, Kyle falls into a life-and-death crisis trying to protect Laila, and Laila sets out on a journey to find her mother, carrying the dragon scale left by her father. Enduring the demonic marsh, the Moonlight River, and the dragons' pursuit, she finally reaches the human empire — only to discover that her mother is busy conquering the five great territories and cannot return.

By a twist of fate, Laila is brought to the imperial palace by her uncle, the crown prince, and with her clever, adorable nature gradually becomes the beloved darling of the palace. When assassins infiltrate the palace to seize the dragon scale, Ella appears at the critical moment to recognize her daughter — and Kyle, who was thought to be dead, suddenly returns as well.
