I Was Called a Demon Lord by the Righteous Sect (300 Episodes)

Lin Yuan, a modern man, wakes up sitting on an obsidian throne, finding himself the supreme demon lord acknowledged by the entire cultivation world — the leader of the Demon Sect. A "Merit Accumulation System" appears in his mind, which will execute him instantly if he fails missions. Beneath the great hall, the stunning saint of the Righteous Sect, Qingyue, is chained up. Vice Sect Leader Tingzhao proposes draining all her cultivation. Yet with a life-or-death countdown ticking away, the system forces Lin Yuan to heal her with his true essence and set her free. Slamming his hand on the armrest, Lin Yuan shouts, "Release her. I will heal her myself." The whole hall is stunned.

Tingzhao immediately draws his sword to stage a mutiny. Just as Lin Yuan is about to be torn apart by the scheming elders, his senior disciple Chu Yun flicks open his folding fan and makes up an insidious master plan: plant a blood-fiend demon seed inside Qingyue so that when she returns to the Righteous Sect, the seed will detonate and kill their alliance leader. Tingzhao is terrified and kneels to beg for mercy. Qingyue, however, becomes convinced that Lin Yuan is ruthless and malicious. During their private healing session, Lin Yuan burns his life source to mend Qingyue's wounds, growing pale and unsteady. Mistaking his sacrifice for devotion to protect her, Qingyue breaks down, hugs him, and confesses her love. Their tender moment does not last long. Three Great Vehicle cultivators and tens of thousands of sword cultivators from the Righteous Alliance storm the mountain.
