Released to the wild during the week of Halloween 2017, Stranger Things Season 2 offers tricks or treats for the Hawkins kids dressed in their favorite costume: Ghostbusters. Just by seeing these characters in beige jumpsuits and makeshift spectral proton packs, many fans imagined what the Ghostbusters series would be like. Well, cinema blend reports that Dan Aykroyd believes it’s not only possible, but could reflect the same season of Stranger Things.
When asked if a Ghostbusters TV series was possible and what it could look like, Aykroyd replied, “Yes. Absolutely. Of course. Of course. I see several possibilities here. Things,” and maybe there will be Ghostbusters in high school or something like that.” Well, you can’t dismiss an idea that came from the same brain that helped bring the original story to life from the start.
