If the music in the Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power trailer alone isn’t enough to give you goosebumps, nothing will. When Ex Makina’s “Breath” starts playing, Galadriel is in the spotlight. After her brother’s death, the elf queen takes it upon herself to lead an attack on the Dark Lord Sauron. We see elves, wizards, humans, dwarves and all sorts of beasts in the first trailer for Ring of Power. Budget $465 million seems to have been put to good use.

The vast landscapes of Middle-earth are as stunning as ever, as are the special effects we see in the trailer. There are new characters that we have yet to meet officially and monsters that we have never seen before. This final trailer for Ring of Power is the best kind of series we’ve ever seen, and it’s definitely the best. Will Amazon Prime be able to live up to the expectations of Tolkien fans? We’ll find out when the episode airs on September 2nd.
