In 2013, Bennett began working for Riot City Wrestling. She was in the promotion for a long time and won the RCW Women’s Championship twice. Bennett began wrestling for New Horizon Pro Wrestling on May 24, 2014, on the first night of NHPW Global Conflict. That night, she joined the Global Conflict Tournament. She was out of the tournament after the first round, when Mercedes Martinez beat her. She returned for the second night of the NHPW Global Conflict event. She teamed with Garry Schmidt for a four-man mixed tag team match. Six months later, Bennett returned and appeared on the opening night of the NHPW Final Chapter event. She wrestled in a four-way match with Madison Eagles, Evie and Saraya Knight, with the vacant Australian IndyGurlz Championship on the line. Bennett did not win the title, however.
Bennett began wrestling for Melbourne City Wrestling on June 14, 2014 at MCW New Horizons. She defended the RCW Women’s Title against Savannah Summers and Toni Storm in a three-way match. At the MCW Clash of the Titans event on August 9, Bennett defeated Miami and retained her Women’s Championship. Bennett defeated Savannah Summers at MCW Fight For A Cause for her third straight win, which maintained her winning streak.
Bennett’s last RCW match was on April 22, 2017 at RCW Strength. She defended the women’s title against Kellyanne and won.
Mae Young Classic (2017-2018)
Bennett joined WWE in 2017 and it was announced that she would be competing in the first Mae Young Classic as Rhea Ripley.
 In the first round, she defeated Miranda Salinas, but in the second round, she lost to Dakota Kai. Ripley first appeared on NXT on October 25, 2017, when she participated in a battle royal to find a candidate for the NXT Women’s Championship Open at TakeOver: WarGames. The winner of the battle royale was Nikki Cross.
Ripley entered the 2018 Mae Young Classic with a new look and a more aggressive, disrespectful attitude, which made her a heel. In her first three matches she defeated MJ Jenkins, Kacy Catanzaro and Tegan Nox, but in the semi-finals she lost to Io Shirai.

Shortly after the 2018 Mae Young Classic, Ripley joined the NXT UK brand, and the first episode of the all-new NXT UK show featured her.
Ripley was one of eight women who entered a tournament in August to find the inaugural NXT UK Women’s Champion. The tournament was taped for television and broadcast in November. She won the first championship by defeating Xia Brookside in the first round, Dakota Kai in the semi-finals and Toni Storm in the final. With the victory, Ripley became the first Australian woman to win the WWE Championship, and after Buddy Murphy, the second overall Australian champion. In October, Ripley fought Dakota Kai in a dark match ahead of the first-ever women’s pay-per-view event, Evolution. She won the match and retained her title (as the tournament had not yet aired at the time, she was not yet recognized on-screen as the champion). During her time as champion, Ripley defeated Isla Dawn and Deonna Purrazzo, who were also in contention for the title.
Ripley lost her title to Toni Storm at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool on January 12, 2019. It was the first time she had lost in the brand. Ripley made her first pay-per-view appearance on the main roster at the Royal Rumble. She entered the women’s Royal Rumble match in 24th place and defeated Kacy Catanzaro, Dana Brooke and Zelina Vega before being eliminated by Bayley. After that, Ripley and Piper Niven, who were just starting out on the NXT UK roster, battled for most of 2019 over who was the most powerful woman on the roster. The match, which took place on June 15 and aired on July 3, was won by Niven. In a rematch on August 31 (aired September 4), Ripley defeated Niven. The two would later work together after Ripley saved Niven from an attack by Jazzy Gabert and Jinny, whom they defeated in a tag team match on October 4. Ripley defeated Nina Samuels in her last match for the brand on October 5, 2019, when NXT UK was taped.

On the August 28, 2019 episode of NXT, Ripley surprised everyone by revisiting the brand. She interrupted NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler and said that Baszler may have beaten everyone on NXT, but not her. She then turned face and started a feud with Baszler.
On the November 1 episode of SmackDown, Ripley and Tegan Nox, two NXT wrestlers, showed up and challenged Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville to a tag team match, which Ripley and Nox won. This happened at the same time as his feud with Baszler. Later that night, Ripley joined Triple H and the rest of the NXT roster as they declared war on Raw and SmackDown and vowed to win the 2019 Survivor Series brand war. which has been going on for quite some time, she defeated Raw’s Charlotte Flair and SmackDown’s Sasha Banks in a triple threat match on the 22nd episode of SmackDown.
At TakeOver: WarGames, Ripley led Team Ripley in the first-ever Women’s WarGames match against Team Baszler, which consisted of Baszler, Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, and NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray. She was also her team’s leader in the 5-on-5-on-5 Women’s Elimination match, which her team won after eliminating SmackDown captain Sasha Banks, leaving her, LeRae, and Shirai as the sole survivors.
Ripley defeated Baszler on the December 18 episode of NXT to win the NXT Women’s Championship. She is the first person to win both the NXT Women’s Championship and the NXT UK Women’s Championship. Then, she retained the title by defeating Toni Storm at Worlds Collide on January 25, 2020.
Ripley showed up on the February 3, 2020 episode of Raw and spoke to Charlotte Flair, who won the Royal Rumble. She told Flair that she should use her chance to win the Royal Rumble title to challenge Ripley for the NXT Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36. Flair showed up on the next episode of NXT to respond, but she was stopped by Bianca Belair, who would challenge Ripley for the title at TakeOver: Portland and Ripley herself. Eventually, the two worked together to attack Flair. [ At the event mentioned above, Ripley defended his title against Belair and was then attacked by Flair, who took Ripley up on his challenge.  Then, on night two of WrestleMania 36, Ripley lost the title to Flair. The following day after WrestleMania, WWE said Ripley had left WWE and returned to Australia due to issues with her visa. Ripley returned to NXT on the May 6 episode after Io Shirai attacked Flair and had Flair kicked out of an NXT Women’s Championship match against Io Shirai. After that, a backstage interview of Ripley and Shirai was shown, during which they started to fight and had to be separated by officials. Both Ripley and Flair lost to Io Shirai in a triple threat match for the NXT Women’s Championship at TakeOver: In Your House on June 7. On the November 18 episode of NXT, Ripley attempted to win the NXT Women’s Championship from Shirai, but she lost.
