international thriller series, Devils The series is based on the novel by Guido Maria Brera. It stars Alessandro Borghi, Patrick Dempsey, Malachi Kirby, Paul Chowdhry, Pia Mehler, Lee Jun Lee, Joel de la Fente, Lars Mikkelsen and Clara Rosager. The story follows Massimo Ruggeo (Borghi) and Dominique Morgan (Dempsey), one of the most powerful figures in the world of international finance, appointed CEO of the New York-London Investment Bank. In Season 2, 2016 is four years after the events in which Ruggiero’s lover Sofia Flores was murdered and Morgan was fired from a New York London bank. Since then, Massimo has become CEO of NYL, which is now partially Chinese-owned under the Chinamerica initiative. Although his career is going high, Massimo has nothing in life other than work and this has created a distance between him and other “pirates” – Oliver Harris (Kirby), Kalim Chowdhry (Chowdhry) and Eleanor Burg (Mechler) ..
