What to expect from Westworld Season 4 Episode 8
The last episode of Westworld season 4 was called “Que Será, Será”. It was written by Alison Schapker and Jonathan Nolan, and Richard J. Lewis was assigned to direct it. As usual, the official episode synopsis doesn’t say much about what’s to come to keep people interested.
After the shocking events of the penultimate episode, the finale almost feels like a post-apocalyptic scene. But the show could easily get into doomsday situations as long as William continues to scare people. The summary might give a clue as to what William is up to, as his new and improved version is causing trouble.
With Christina losing her power and control, the version of New York that has been built over the course of the season could very well crumble. After the bloodbath of the last episode, it seems that the fittest will now win.
Who died in the seventh episode of season 4 of Westworld?
In the penultimate episode of season 4, which was the most shocking of the season, many characters met terrible ends.
Bernard died trying to come up with a plan to save the world. As expected, he stormed the tower with Maeve, who had just woken up, where she fought Hale. C, aka Frankie, and Stubbs went through Olympiad Entertainment to raid Hale’s establishment, where they found his father Caleb.
William killed Maeve and Hale after their fight, which was a sad end to their fight. He then went to the top of the tower, where Bernard was recording a message for someone, and killed him as well. Earlier in the episode, William also killed his real self, which was kept alive by Hale in a cryogenic cell.
After killing Bernard, William played a sick and twisted game of “survival of the fittest” by making the townspeople kill each other. In the last scene of the episode, he was heading into town alone.
Teddy told Christina that she couldn’t stop the humans from fighting because they couldn’t see her. Christina was trying to stop them from fighting.
On August 14, 2022, HBO and HBO Max will air the Season 4 finale of Westworld to find out what happens after William goes on a killing spree.
