Arizonan Adrienne Salinas, 19, was a student at the time of her death and was 19 at the time. Salinas and her two roommates were preparing to throw a birthday party for one of their friends on the evening of June 14, 2013. Shainey Duggan, Salinas’ roommate, reportedly said that Salinas was not in a good mood that evening- the. She said in a statement to People:

Adrienne was alone in her room, sitting on her bed, fully dressed and prepared for the party but unwilling to participate in the activities downstairs.

She claimed that night that she was just not in the mood to party.
Salinas was angry with his partner that night, according to Duggan. Her feelings were hurt by her boyfriend’s reported interest in another woman. According to Uncovered, the couple left the party around 2:30 a.m., but Salinas insisted she didn’t want to spend the night at Francisco’s apartment, so he drove her home.

Then, before leaving around 4 a.m., she allegedly had a brief conversation with a roommate.

This time she was thought to have returned to her flat to change after her taxi was involved in a single car collision. However, no one saw her enter the apartment.

Around 5 a.m., Salinas reportedly texted and contacted her boyfriend, telling him she was heading to his house. She then allegedly left the apartment once more. She told the taxi driver to meet her at a nearby convenience store after he made the call. It was his last interaction with anyone, according to reports.

She was nowhere to be found by the taxi driver. She had already turned off her phone. Salinas was never seen alive again.

On June 16, 2013, Adrienne Salinas went missing. The police opened an investigation and questioned the taxi driver and her boyfriend. Authorities thoroughly investigated a few suspects, but were unable to develop any solid leads.

Nearly two months after Salinas’ inexplicable disappearance, her bones were discovered in a desert sink in Apache Junction on August 6, 2013. Despite the incident being ruled a homicide. No evidence of wrongdoing, according to police, was discovered. The cause of his death was also not revealed in the autopsy results.
