On August 1, 2020, Christian Bono passed away along with his brother Matthew and a friend named Nehemiah Turban.
The funeral service for them was held on August 15, 2022. Everyone in Florida was stunned to learn of their tragic deaths after their respective families broke the news.

On the baseball field at Southwest Little League Baseball Field in Whispering Pines Park, hundreds of their co-workers and family members gathered to remember Christian, 16, Matthew, 15, and Turban, 16, and to say their last goodbyes.
“I never expected to lose anyone in my family, never alone two people in such a short time,” said Emmalee Bono, Bono’s sister.

Police arrested his pal Nehemiah Turban’s mother, Beth Turban, for feeding the boys alcohol at a house party before the fatal collision weeks after the event. Unfortunately, a day later it was learned that the boys were dead.
Authorities discovered that Beth Turban was supplying alcohol to minors. According to the story, the three teenage baseball players went out to buy ping pong balls so they could play beer pong.

Christian Bono was a college student and aspiring baseball player. He is from Port St. Lucie and graduated from St. Lucie West Centennial High School. Turban competed in athletics at Treasure Coast High School.
