Jungle: Prime Video Teases Premiere of Drama Told with Rap Music and Dialogue (Photos) – Canceled + Relaunched TV Shows

Jungle coming soon to Prime Video, and the streaming service has released the first photos for the drama. The series will tell its story through rap music and dialogue.

Prime Video revealed more about the new drama in a press release.

Today, during the Television Critics Association virtual panel, Prime Video released the first teaser trailer for the six-part original series Jungle. Produced by Nothing Lost, the new series, with its daring visuals and stunning audio, is a form of rhythmic storytelling based on British rap and workout music. Friday, September 30exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.

The Jungle follows the interconnected lives of several strangers as they each face their own struggles, seen through the lens of British rap and workout music, and provides insight into an often invisible world. Often misunderstood, this is a world where one law rules everything: only the fittest survive. As the world of strangers begins to crumble around them, they come to understand that every action, no matter how small, has consequences.

The series will be told through a unique combination of music and dialogue, working alongside creatively ambitious cinematography and design to create a slanted, timeless version of today’s London. In total, Jungle features over 30 top British rap artists such as Tinie Tempah, Big Narstie, Unknown T, Jordan McCann, Double Lz and Bando Kay. At the start of the series, Gogo (played by Ezra Elliott) and Slim (played by R.A.) are introduced. The story unfolds with multiple roles brought to life by an extensive cast that also includes M24 as 6ix, J Fado as Chapo, K Koke as Stacks, Jaykae as Willow, IAMDDB as Mia, Seyi Andes-Pelumi as Danial and BB AMARIA as Bianca. By depicting the city through compelling visuals, detailing the many dangers of everyday life in central London, Jungle ultimately seeks to convey a broader message about the true value of life.
