Paul McCartney, who was married to John Eastman’s sister, paid tribute to him on social media following his death on August 9. The message says:

“John Eastman, my dear brother-in-law, has passed away. As we have known each other for over 50 years, this is a very sad time for our families and me.

John was one of the kindest and smartest people McCartney had ever met, according to McCartney. He said John was his lawyer and helped him with his cases. He also said that everyone liked John’s sense of humor. The post went on to say,

“Over the years we had a lot of fun together, but when things got serious he was unbeatable. There’s a lot more to say about his incredible qualities, but words can’t do justice to his love of life. and our respect for him.

At the end of the article, it was said that people who knew and loved John would miss him and cherish him in their hearts.

John Eastman was the band’s attorney, and his sister, Linda Eastman, was married to Paul McCartney, who was also in the band.

The NYU School of Law profile indicated that John worked as an attorney for the estate of painter Francis Bacon and the family of artist Willem de Kooning. In 2004, when he spoke to NYU law students, he told them that they had the power to change the things that mattered to them and that they should have the courage not to be supported but to be who they want to be.

When the group broke up, the band members sought advice from John and his father Lee. At the time, Paul was Lee’s daughter-in-law and John’s brother-in-law. Paul’s sisters-in-law are Laura and Louise Jr.

In London in March 1969, Linda and Paul pronounced their vows to each other. The first time they met was in 1967, when Linda was taking pictures at a Georgia Fame concert for her work.

Heather, Mary and Stella are John’s nieces. Her nephew, James, is Linda’s son from her marriage to Paul. But Linda died in April 1998, aged 56, after a long battle with breast cancer.

John also spent $26.5 million on a penthouse near Central Park in 2021, where he and his wife lived. John died on August 9 of pancreatic cancer. His wife, Jodie Eastman, is the only one who will miss him.
