Although Starz executives are not tied to ratings like normal commercial channels, they must air programming that will keep viewers subscribed. Which of their shows will be canceled or resumed? We’ll have to wait and see.

Last update: Latest ratings added for Become Elizabeth as well as P-Valley.
There’s a lot of data that Starz executives look at when deciding whether to renew or cancel a series. Initial broadcast ratings do not play as much of a role as they do on commercial stations, but they are still an indicator of a show’s popularity. Here is an updated list of recent/current scripted primetime shows on Starz.
A few notes about these charts: These numbers are updated automatically as new ratings are released (usually a day or so after broadcasts). Averages are based on final national figures (live plus same day viewing). Demo numbers, which are usually most important for broadcast networks, are not as important for cable channels because their audiences are usually much smaller. Demo numbers are usually reported using 10 decimal places (eg 2.4). On average, I use an extra decimal to make it easier to rank.
What do you think? Are you surprised by any of the ratings? What series should be better? Which one do you think will be canceled next?
