Justin Hardy is a young basketball player and a student of St. Louis’ Washington University who died on May 29. As per his family’s statement, stomach cancer was detected in him after more than one year at the 4th stage, when he was diagnosed.

It feels extremely mournful to accept the incident of a young boy who may have created his own identity on the surface of basketball and could be a basketball star.
Men’s Basketball Head Leader Pat Juckem said with sorrow that Hardy used to be a leader of their team. The team lost a star whose love and support had surpassed in his teammates. They will all miss him.
Justin Hardy’s Heart Like Statement After Getting The Devastating News
Justin Hardy was born and brought up in Chicago and attained his degree in finance at Olin Business School.
It was last spring when he came to know that he was one of the unfortunate people who was attacked by that disease which has no recovery, called stomach cancer.
It was the 4th stage when the cancer was detected and he started diagnosed and took a step back from sitting out his final season.
Doctors gave him permission to play, so he continued playing. At that very time, he was determined that he would give his best to the Bears reach the NCAA Tournament.
When the team was at the advanced stage of Sweet 16 in 2020, the whole country of the world came under the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic. And the whole season of 2020-2021 was canceled. Hardy told the basketball reporter, named Stu Durando, that at that time he had to come in the flow.
His life had changed in one day and he continued by saying that if he wants to live life, he has to take the best step in his life with a positive mindset, as it is becoming too short day by day. Without mentioning the name, he stated that someone had told him that positivity can kill cancer.
Sorrowful Statement Of Hardy’s Friends
Justin’s close friends still can’t believe that he is no more, but his presence is felt by them. Martin, one of his friends, said that, in the last days, Justin lived with hope and gave all his concentration to basketball.
But all their community and atmosphere have changed in a moment.
Alongside his other friends, Nolan said that almost everyone was optimistic about his playing career and till the last day he kept playing basketball. The life-changing diagnosis converted him into a better person, a better leader, a better friend, and mostly a selfless person.
According to Nolan, Justin thought that his story would give power and strength to many people and he was right. Juckem said that his story has reverberated not only at the university but beyond the country. This year, the university has encountered his toughness and courage, which is really stunning.
Though this is an unexpected incident, but a lot of people learned from Justin how life should be lived to its fullness in spite of knowing the validity of his life.
