Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz will reprise their roles as Batman and Catwomen, respectively, in the upcoming Batman sequel. At CinemaCon 2022, the sequel’s producers, Warner Bros, revealed the major news, stating that Matt Reeves will write and direct the sequel as well.

The director made a brief appearance at CinemaCon 2022, thanking the audience and fans for their support for the first film. Matt Reeves, speaking of the next chapter, said that the project excites him, and he is eager to return to that environment.

The first Batman film was a big success, and the public embraced Robert Pattinson as the new Batman with open arms. The film soared to the top of the box office in the United States, becoming the highest-grossing film of the year.

Audiences complimented Robert for his bleak portrayal of the Dark Knight. The first film focused on Bruce Wayne’s early life. Later, he assumes the role of Gotham City’s superhero.

However, no additional information about the impending sequel has been released by the producers. However, Barry Keoghan as the Joker was featured in the end credits scene of the first Batman film. As a result, fans will be surprised if the future sequel continues the tale.

Catwoman is played by Zoe Kravitz, Alfred Pennyworth is played by Andy Serkis, Penguin is played by Colin Farrell, and Gotham City Police Chief James Gordon is played by Jeffrey Wright. All of them played key roles in the first Batman film, and it will be interesting to watch how the filmmakers handle Bruce’s connection with them in the sequel.

The chemistry between Pattinson and Kravitz has also sparked interest among fans. Even though their romance narrative is yet unknown, this on-screen duo has already generated a lot of talks.

Farrell has also revealed that he will reprise his role as Oswald Cobblepot, or The Penguin, in a spin-off HBO limited series that will follow the character’s ascension through Gotham’s criminal underground.

At CinemaCon, Warner Bros. gave fans new looks at future projects such as Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis, The Flash, and Wonka, among others.

Following the character’s cameo – recognized officially simply as ‘Unseen Arkham Prisoner’ – in the movie’s concluding moments, Reeves showed a scary deleted scene with the Joker interacting with Batman.

With his debut as the legendary villain, Eternals star, Barry Keoghan follows in the footsteps of actors such as Jack Nicholson, the late Heath Ledger, Jared Leto, and Joaquin Phoenix, implying that we may see more of him in the sequel.
