“Bride Wars,” a comedy from 20th Century Fox, will premiere on Friday. The film stars Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson as best friends who had planned their weddings from when they were little. A few issues occur once they both become engaged and work out their wedding arrangements in Bride Wars.
Bride Wars: Story Of Two Closest Friends
However, what follows is a battle between two closest friends over pursuing their aspirations. The official summary is as follows:
Emma (Anne Hathaway) and Kate Hudson’s Liv (Kate Hudson) have been planning their weddings since they were little girls. The Plaza Hotel in New York City is at the top of their “must-have” list for a wedding ceremony.
After a long courtship and a successful career, they’re finally ready to settle down and have a family at 26.
Bride Wars, starring Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson, opens nationwide on January 9 and may be seen in select theaters. The plot sets the characters of Hathaway and Hudson against one another over the fate of two best friends whose weddings had on the same day.
Bridal Wars will only add to Hathaway’s recent success as a professional. For her performance in the film Rachel Getting Married, Hathaway got an Oscar nomination for Best Actress.
During an interview for the film, she discusses how the experience of being on camera provided a much-needed diversion from difficulties she had in her personal life in 2008.
The Friendship Between Liv And Emma Is To The Test
It’s not uncommon for two people to be married on the same day due to a clerical mistake. The friendship between Liv and Emma is to the test. After years of planning the ideal wedding, Liv, a well-to-do lawyer, refuses to accept anything less than the perfect day she’s always wanted. When Emma’s perfect wedding, she unleashes her inner Bridezilla, a schoolteacher who has always been excellent at taking care of others but terrible at taking care of herself.
Bride Wars is a 2009 American romantic dark comedy film written by Greg DePaul, June Diane Raphael, and Casey Wilson and directed by Gary Winick.
- Almost Famous (2000) and Kung Fu Panda 3 (2003) are two of Hudson’s highest-grossing films (2016).
- “A Little Bit of Heaven” (2012) and “Rock the Kasbah” (2013) are her lowest-rated films (2015).
This weekend’s girl film, Bride Wars, will take on a whole new meaning when it hits theaters. It’s a terrific source of cinematic comedy fireworks when two brides-to-be go head-to-head in a bridal brawl. When it comes to wedding movies, Bride Wars is a certain slam dunk with Hathaway and Hudson stealing scenes from each other at every opportunity.
Before Desperate Housewives, there were rumors of conflict and rivalry among the Sex and the City cast members. It would seem that females cannot work together without sparking such speculation. It was recently reported that Hollywood insiders said that Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway did not get along while filming Bride Wars.
According to an insider, this is the case “Hudson’s treatment of Anne was appalling never gave in to Kate’s hysteria, though.” Kate’s representative rejected the allegation, stating, “She and Anne have always been excellent friends, and they will continue to be good friends.
