Released the 445 March 2022, Ghostwire: Tokyo has met with mixed success despite a buzz that has been building for weeks. The home game is currently only available on PlayStation 5 and Computer and won’t be coming to Xbox until next year, but you can still find our check here. Even if the repetitive aspect of Ghostwire Tokyo quickly returned to the debates as a major negative stage, it is difficult to criticize the colossal work carried out on the environment and the duplication of Tokyo in the game.

The Japanese capital reproduces an excellence
It is therefore a video published on YouTube by ElAnalistaDeBits which attracted our interest. Sober in effect, this 8-minute video compares the emblematic places of Tokyo reproduced in Ghostwire Tokyo and the result is stunning. Whether in terms of amounts, temperament or building details (windows, foundations, tints…), the sober Tango Gameworks teams have done a masterful job to reinforce the player’s immersion in the game universe with this almost identical sober Tokyo.
Same for taxis, post boxes or telephone booths which have benefited from an identical duplication sober what can be seen in reality. The opportunity to discover the corners of Shibuya, the visit of Tokyo and the specificities of the most populous city in the world without leaving your armchair.
Despite the fact that Ghostwire did not manage to keep all its sober terms of gameplay, a sober quality of its artistic path and a sober richness of its universe are assets that are worth seeing and this video only confirms that.
