The latest title from the French Asobo Studio, A Plague Tale: Requiem, is supposed to be released this year on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC with a day one release in the Xbox Gamepass. Some time ago, we discovered the launch of the collector’s edition in pre-order and we learned that the composer Oliver Derivière would be part of the soundtrack of this new opus. It is now the PowerPyx site that is sharing some fairly important new information with us.

A potential release next May and the list of game achievements revealed

PowerPyx media specializes in content related to all unlockable achievements and achievements in many video games (mainly PlayStation). PowerPyx shares its findings on YouTube, on Twitter, but also on its site and it was an article published yesterday on the latter that caught our attention.

Indeed, PowerPyx has unveiled the list of 36 unlockable trophies in the next A Plague series title Tale. This list comes from the GOG platform servers regarding the PC version. Note that PlayStation trophies and Xbox achievements are often identical, with the only difference that Xbox does not offer “platinum” achievements like on PlayStation when the player unlocks all the other achievements. The value of each achievement (Xbox G points) should be revealed at a later date.

This list tells us that A Plague Tale: Requiem will be composed of 17 chapters. The names of the achievements of these chapters evoke different places that players will surely have to discover while collecting souvenirs, feathers, flowers and other objects. Upgradable weapons and abilities will also be there, according to the end of this list of successes. If the pattern is similar to that of A Plague Tale: Innocence, the game could be over at 95 % in about fifteen hours.

The last major info shared by PowerPyx concerns the release date of the title. While no specific date has been confirmed as of yet, the PSN store database indicates that A Plague Tale: Requiem is scheduled for release on 17 next May. Information to be taken with a grain of salt as long as nothing is confirmed by the studio, but to consider since we could be two months away from the game’s planned release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC with day one access. for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
