Longtime Kentucky Journalism fixture Billy Reed is a former writer for Sports Illustrated and a member of the U.S. Basketball Writers Hall of Fame, the Kentucky Journalism Hall of Fame and the Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame.
The former Courier-Journal Sports Editor and columnist and Lexington Herald-Leader columnist is an eight-time Kentucky Sports Writer of the Year eight times and two-time Eclipse Award winner.
