A Little About Me...
Chas Andrews is an entertainment blogger, freelance writer, photographer, movie critic, book reader, crime fiction lover, traveler, and a fan of Southern rock/blues music. He currently hails from Louisville, KY which is also noted for Sue Grafton, My Morning Jacket, and Papa Johns Pizza. His cinematic journey started with working at Showcase Cinemas before being a video store clerk. He did his time at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in 2002 as a film major and shot on 8mm, Hi-8, Super 8, 16mm, regular/ S-video, and DV. This was followed by a short stint in L.A. where he met Leonard Maltin, Eric Idle, Wes Craven, and Kevin Smith. After that he worked as an assistant wedding photographer and videographer for Studio EnVogue Photography in Dothan, AL. Hes been back in the Ville since 2007 and has written for Baby Boom Review, Wiregrass Parenting Magazine, and LouisvilleMojo.com. In his apartment are more than 400 DVDs and Blu-rays and some really cool movie posters. He currently sits on a few screenplays and short stories, as well as writing on several blogs.
What I'm Looking For...
And now, the dating profile:
First off: if youre looking for that guy into football, trucks, motorcycles, hunting, fishing, there are about a billion others of them and they go for 10 cents/dozen.
Who am I?
Witty, cool, sarcastic, funny, intelligent, creative, hardworking, honest, and fun to be around. I read, write, travel, do photog, watch movies, listen to music, etc.
So, what can I offer?
Coffee, intelligent conversation, and fun. Theres other stuff as well, but that Ill offer up front.
What do I do?
Im an entertainment blogger/movie reviewer and I write mystery/hardboiled thriller fiction. On the side I enjoy going out and doing photography. I also work for a government agency privately contracted to state and federal law enforcement. Its an interesting job and if you get to know me Ill tell you about it.
What am I looking for?
A woman thats smart, funny, sexy, cool, interesting, fun, and nice. Someone I can connect with; someone I want to spend time with. I like geeky/nerdy chicks but draw the line at fanaticism.
Feel free to drop me a line -Chas

my turn ons are… the special, Limited and numbered edition remastered and remixed in 7.1 channel surround sound with director, cast, crew, and janitorial commentary, multiple hours of Special Features including documentaries, deleted scenes, and the catering menu.
things that turn me -off- include… anything that Michael Bay or M. Night Shamma-lamma-ding-dong is part of
i would describe the way i dress as… appropriate for the job title
my favorite place in the whole world is… The Bridge Cinema in L.A. County
when it comes to politics… whuh? This is about film.
my musical tastes… Gustavo Santoalla, Jerry Goldsmith, Lalo Schifrin, Bernard Hermann, John Williams
i would best describe my work ethic as… is the DVD done ripping, yet?
when it comes to my digs (apartment, home, etc.)… I'm happy with my plasma TV
the worst (or best) lie i've ever told was... well, the filmmaker was capable...
my superpowers are... being just like the IMDB, but I don't have to logon
things that make me really angry! Michael Bay, M. Night Shamma-lamma-ding-dong, and anything Luc Besson did after "Leon the Professional"
i'm currently reading... the script for "Titanic 2"
if i'm in front of the tv, i might be watching... a movie. duh
my most recent disorder or neurosis... is not as bad as anything Roman Polanski has
