A Little About Me...
I served in the Air Force between 88-92 as a Aerospace Propulsion Specialist. That's the Air Force's version of a Jet Engine Mechanic. I did my basic training at Lackland AFB, Texas. I, then went on to Chanute AFB, Illinois for my technical school. I finally landed at March AFB, California as my permanent duty station, where i spent over 3 years.

one of my new hobbies is digital photography. i have always liked taking pictures, but never had a decent camera, until now. Last year, I bought myself a Canon EOS Rebel XTi and it's been a joy to be able to be able to take some great pictures. I am still an amateur, but I am learning. I am finding myself needing to go back to places where i have already been and take new pictures. I have been to Crater Lake several times with a point and shoot camera. Those pictures are just ok, nothing spectacular. A few months ago, i also purchased a Canon HV20 High Definition miniDV camcorder. So, on my next trip to Crater Lake in August, i hope to get both video and stills that will just rock.

update: i sold my HV20 and bought a new not yet released ( as of august 22nd ) to the US, canon hf s11 from japan. it's even better than the hv20.
