if i'm in front of the tv, i might be watching... I don't really watch much TV, honestly. However, I religiously download True Blood, Bones, Supernatural, and more BBC TV than is rational.
my turn ons are… Obscure movie references, inside jokes, pirates AND ninjas, smiles, sarcasm, dry wit. People who have a vocabulary and aren't afraid to use it. Good food. Watching somebody ENJOY good food. On a related note, Megan Fox needs to eat a damn sandwich.
things that turn me -off- include… Overly skinny people, because I want to be with someone I won't break in half. People who can't appreciate a good book because they're waiting for the movie. People who don't understand the need for a secret underground lair, or henchmen to man it.
i would describe the way i dress as… Usually I tend toward shorts, comic book or horror shirts (see employment), and sneakers or sandals. I have, however, been known to dress up just for the hell of it. I clean up rather well, but then I get mistaken for Penn Jilette. Sigh.
when it comes to politics… I'm a social liberal, and a fiscal conservative. I firmly believe in and support separation of church and state, as well as gay rights and marriage. I believe, however, that the only form of gun control should be a firm weaver grip and horse stance.
the worst (or best) lie i've ever told was... "Yes, I'm Penn Jilette." I even signed an autograph. I rock.
my superpowers are... Zen Judaism, the subtle art of guilt at a distance. The ability to identify a movie from 5 notes of theme music. The uncanny ability to mimic a velociraptor. I also do a mean Dale Gribble impersonation.
things that make me really angry! Closed-mindedness. Blatant ignorance. Religious fanatics. People who think BASKETBALL is a religion. People who refuse to accept something because "God" says it's wrong.
i'm currently reading... Good Omens, by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. I frigging LOVE this book. "Gayer than a tree full of monkeys high on nitrous oxide." ROFL, as they say. Also, The Boys by Garth Ennis. Probably one of the funniest freaking comics I've ever read.
my musical tastes… I'm not one of those people who "listens to anything". For example, I loath Hannah Montana, but think Tibetan throat singers rock. I'm mostly into old-school punk, Hank Williams Sr., Nick Cave, Johnny Cash, and nerd rock like Ookla the Mok.
