A Little About Me...
I think I finally have the Big Idea! While the pieces are coming together, I'll be soaking them in a nice, dusty bordeaux.
A serial multi-tasker, live music zealot, xenophile, unreasonable optimist, event spinner, an unfinished work. I can heal faster than most can thaw. I surround myself with virtual freedom fighters in hopes of fashioning a more socially conscious and compassionate world through online communication. The tower of Babble was a great idea - let's build a better one this time. Communicate!
A resident of the Metaverse and online communities since 1995, I am guilty of thinking too many deep thoughts about the concepts of reality and identity (virtual and actual). When not preoccupied with social networking, I am usually mulling over zombie movies, indie post-punk lyrics, and varieties of curry.
When I was still living in Louisiana, I used to walk around LSU's campus with my passport shoved into my back pocket, just in the off chance that someone would rush up to the steps of the union and shout out breathlessly, "Quick! No time! I need someone on the next plane to Bangladesh as a courier right now!" I could whip out my documents and reply, "I'm on it!" Much of my life can be categorized in that story.
I've lived in Brazil, traveled to Sweden, and spent a lifetime thinking about a boat near the Azores Islands. Louisville is the most interesting cacophony of funk and soul, grit and beauty, that I've come across.
