Short version...I pretty much have the basics of my life together.. job, health, home, finances...this keeps me from wasting time on worry and angst and leaves more time free for exploring roads less traveled.

I like simple pleasures such as yoga & fitness, gardening, cooking, football and spending time with my son. Ballroom dancing is something I have taken up recently, sexy & fun.

I'm a single dad, my son is a top priority. I'm very energetic and young at heart...I like to stay active and keep busy! (I have a rockin' 6-pack to prove it, but not gonna show it in my pics, esp. not in posed front of a pickup.)

I have little interest in the bar scene as a way to meet people (who can hear in there??) I like going to comedy clubs or dancing better than just getting blotto. The outdoors are great too, as long as the weather is warm, and/or there is a hot shower available later.

I enjoy learning & new experiences. I am almost never bored, and do not understand people who are. I'm very comfortable in my own skin and confident in a quiet way. It's not all serious stuff though - I guarantee I can make you laugh, and I do have some "guitly pleasures" - like Mike Myers movies, People Magazine and Taco Bell.

Oh yes, and chocolate, but who doesn't have that one?

What I'm Looking For...
One can't help but look, though looking is usually a pointless exercise...life brings us to the places and people we are meant to find...I am ALWAYS looking for people with positive energy though..creativity, humor, elan, original thought...

I'm pretty much up for anything, chat, blogging, dating or just friendly meetings for coffee - a long term relationship is not something I am afraid of, but I am not on a mission to establish one either...finding a good and lasting one takes time and patience..

Things I admire include intelligence, NATURAL beauty, being fit and healthy, good manners, ability to laugh and a zest for life.

Hmm.... my "type"? I used to think it is a "brainy brunette" - but I'm also fascinated by mysterious redheads and sophisticated blondes. Then I realized the important part of those descriptions is the adjectives, not the nouns.

I'm NOT looking for a replacement mom for my kid. I have been caring for him by myself since he was 1, and can do so just fine, thanks..but any postive female presence/influence in his life is most welcome.

Smart, pretty, and successful women often say all the good guys are taken - I am here to prove that wrong - I'm not intimidated by your accomplishments.
