i would best describe my work ethic as… ...present and accounted for.
my favorite place in the whole world is… ...on a sailboat someplace warm and perpetually sunny.
i would describe the way i dress as… ...proof that I'm a clothes horse.
my superpowers are... ...not among those depicted in the best movie of 2004: The Incredibles.
my most recent disorder or neurosis... ...pursuing my lifelong quests to stamp out the use of the word "quote" as a noun and to revive the proper use of the serial comma.
the worst (or best) lie i've ever told was... "That's very interesting. No, really... please do go on."
things that make me really angry! People who modify the word "unique" with a superlative, football announcers who call an end-around a "reverse" (and, of course, call a reverse a "double reverse"), drivers who don't understand what 'Keep Right Except to Pass' means.
when it comes to politics… Summum ius summa iniuria.
my musical tastes… ...what have we got for entertainment? Cops kicking gypsies on the pavement.
when it comes to my digs (apartment, home, etc.)… ...I remodelled my place myself so, of course, it's exactly what I want. It would be considerably neater if my dog didn't shed so much.
things that turn me -off- include… ...second-class behaviour.
my turn ons are… Symmetry, elegance, complexity, and (sometimes) recursiveness. Oh, and gratuitious use of obscure pop culture references.
if i'm in front of the tv, i might be watching... ...History International, a DVD of a Joss Whedon show, or a football game.
i'm currently reading... ... Making Money by Terry Pratchett.
Recently finished: Deathly Hallows, Cosmonaut Keep (MacLeod), Self-Made Man (Vincent), Judas Unchained (Hamilton), Anansi Boys (Gaiman)
