All I have to say is...CHEESESTICK!
Lowe's

Great prices, but the staff really aren't as knowledgeable as they are in the commercials...
Bearno's

Yummy pizza...but I don't think I would hang out there...
Phoenix Hill Tavern

A lot of fun is waiting to be had...it almost seems a right of passage for people that have grown up here.
Kenwood Drive-In

Great place to go away from the MEGA-theatre
American Turners

I can remember going there with friends when I was a kid just to swim. Always had a lot of fun.
Louisville Zoo

We have a wonderful zoo, too bad it costs so much for admission. It would be nice if we had free admission like they do in other states.

I love this place, I feel like a big kid again every time I go!

I would never stay in this motel...it is bad enough when your work hold events there and you HAVE to go.
Willow Park

Beautiful park...however I attended an ill-fated wedding there once...kinda brings it down in my opinion.
Feeders Supply

Feeder's has great prices...I only wish that some of their staff were more knowledgable in the area in which they work.
Cherokee Park

We need to count ourselves among the lucky to have an entire Olmstead designed park system...absolutely beautiful!
Uncle Pleasants

I've only been here a few times-but they were all good. Great venue for local bands.
Tinks Pub

    ·    May 16, 2007
Tinks is a lot of fun...the beer is fairly cheap, and the pool tables are almost always open:)
Spinelli's Pizzeria
chele777 says
    ·    May 16, 2007
I love this place...the pizza is great...and my male friends love the fact that you can buy a 40 oz. of beer. I just wouldn't recommend going there right after the bars close-it can get a little crazy...
Abbey Road on the River

    ·    May 14, 2007
If you are a Beatles fan...you must go...I went the first year we had it and it was an absolute blast. I just hope that they keep it to where you can come and go all day without paying to get in again-it was great!
Mid-City Mall
chele777 says

Growing up this was the closest "mall"...it is very convenient, but it would be nice if they would bring some sort of department store back into it, like when it had a Zayre's.
Danny Macs Pizza
chele777 says

Yummy! That is all that needs to be said...
Willy's

Only because they got rid of the pole:(
Barnes and Nobles

Great selection...but way overpriced...maybe it's the fact that I like to walk out of a bookstore with cash left over and several books in hand
