Could we get any more lucky than for it to be 72 degrees on a Saturday in November?
How about having a hunky date take you on a walk down Barret Avenue on said day, including a stop in to Lynn's Paradise Café?
I laughed until I thought my sides were going to split. Trees growing right in the middle of the restaurant, torsos clad in retro 70's printed pants projecting from the walls, and rainbow colored chandeliers hanging from the bathroom ceilings are only a few of the eccentricities you'll find at this unique eatery.
Entertainment? Who needs entertainment when the sights and sounds around you are mesmerizing?
And the food? OMG! Bourbon Ball milkshakes and entrées named Hoppin' Juan and The Highlander will definitely keep your palate satisfied. Not to mention the signature Cheese Grits. OOOOOOO Whee!
Fellas, if you are looking for a place to take your date where the food is superb, the ambiance fun, and where you may not have to say much to keep your gal engaged, DEFINITELY put Lynn's Paradise Café on your list. And don't forget to tell them Diva sent you.
Ciao, Bella!
p.s.- For those of you wondering how the date went… despite his embarrassment over my extracurricular activity of the blog, looks like we are going out again :)
