Lively music, interesting pub faire, and a good-looking waiter in a kilt. What else could a Diva need in her lunch experience?
Although not exactly what I remember of the pubs in Ireland, Diva highly recommends The Pub if you are in the Fourth Street LIVE area. I hear tell that all of the furniture and most of the accessories used in the interior were shipped over from the UK to guarantee an authentic British experience. Ok, ok, so the kilt thing isn't British, but who can resist a hunky server in a kilt?
According to the management, this eclectic eatery on Fourth Street LIVE is best described as a “gastropub”, the British term for a tavern that serves more than “pub grub”, or the kind of food you wouldn't expect to find in a bar. The Pub's menu combines the finest aspects of traditional pub fare with more complicated dishes. Of course, all menu items can be expertly paired with an assortment of beers, wines and spirits! And best of all… MEN IN KILTS!
