I prefer the diluted practice of blog to posting facts in a profile. On myspace, I blog like a fiend. And somewhere in cyberspace, on LiveJournal, is some of my best prose. But I don't blog to whine and cry and be some overgrown emo kid. I blog to impress my friends with large words that I can and do use in sentences often, words such as "indigenous" and "sardonic". Also "catharsis", yes, I enjoy that one a lot. It's a good one to use when you're depressed.
I am coming to find that I have wasted a good number of years being depressed. I have even been battling that condition lately. Reconditioning one's self to cease the creation of problems when there are none, because serenity feels unnatural, is quite a challenge. I've come a long way. But still have as far to go.
But what can I tell you that won't spoil the hilarity that ensues when you get to the enigmatic parts of me?
*I fully support the right to yell FIRE in a crowded theatre, even though I am a firefighter. So long as I haven't already been on a full involved structure, nor a lift assist for a guy who hasn't seen his dick in 8 years, nor is between the hours of 12a-6a as I like to sleep and haven't done enough of it since, oh, 1987. I rock the bunker gear, what can I say?
*I'm scared of clowns, though this seems to be common. But I was graced with a random epiphany of why I was traumatized by clowns, and i doubt many people know why THEY don't like clowns...so there.
*I do tend to yell at inanimate objects. Later today I will be doing auto maintenance on my daughter's beater, and I will undoubtedly use the word "WHORE!" in reference to parts, laboring, or tools that do not fit, several times during the course of this tune up. Other times it's random things, I'll speak to those later.
*I shop, way too much, but I pay my own damn bills and you can't take it with you. Candles are on the list of shopping obsession. NO, not because that's a chic thing, I am just completely ocd about SMELL. Things, people, me, homes, furniture....it has to smell good, ALWAYS.
*I am politically incorrect, will use the word 'tard, and make no apologies about it. Because it's when we exercise an overabundance of sensitivity to any one group of people that we are discriminating, damn it. We all have shortcomings and should be bale to suck it up and move on, so everyone should be entitled to their opinion. If you think I'm an overintense, shaggy haired troll with a big mouth and bigger ass, i give a F***, that's pretty true and there are 10 people standing behind you who think i'm pretty dope.
Well, I think that's enough for you to chew on for now.
