What is your dream sweetheart?
I once thought I knew.
I even thought that it was me
Life proved that wasn't true
How much time I spend in dreaming dreams
Of our love, now in the past
Thinking of what might have been
If I could have held you fast
I see you now unhappy
Life's trials and those you made
Sometimes I think I shouldn't care
But my love, it will not fade.
So really, love, what is your dream?
How can I make it come to be?
I want to see you happy once again
Even if it's not with me.
