Louisville Vintage Motorworks, a club that's sprung up around vintage motorcycles, scooters and cars - but mostly cycles, looks like - is holding a swap meet Saturday.
The swap meet is free to get into and looks to be open to anyone willing to pay the $10 booth fee. It's set for 8 a.m.-2 p.m. in the St. Therese Catholic Church parking lot at the corner of Kentucky Street and Schiller Avenue.
The club's Facebook page has more than 300 members, the swap meet invitation there shows (at least as of Wednesday morning) almost 50 people who've said they plan to attend and more than 80 maybes.
This is the next step in developing our own brand of citizen journalism.
I'm here to report on what I see going on in Louisville, to look for stories wherever and whatever they are, and to get you to help me.
If you know of something going on that's good, or something that's going on that shouldn't be, let me know. We want to shout it from the rooftops, or - even better - help you to do it.
