This week, Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 will be opening in theaters. After seeing the first, I know that this film will be an incredible conclusion to Rob Zombie's vision. I myself am a HUGE Halloween movie buff and you can be certain I will be one of the first in line to see this movie. So, I started to plan where I would go check out the movie with my buddies.
After a little research, I found that the Georgetown Drive-In is doing a HUGE opening for Halloween 2. Apparrently, they are Halloween buffs as well. Not only are they showing Halloween 2, but they are also showing Rob Zombie's Halloween! So, both Halloween movies in ONE NIGHT! Plus, it is at the drive-in! There is no better way to watch a scary movie in my book! The creepiness of the trees surrounding you and being under the stars…makes for quite a spooky night.
If that wasn't enough, the Georgetown Drive-In is also having the actor that plays Michael Myers, Casey Hendershot, there signing autographs this Saturday! So, not only do you get both Halloween movies, but you also get to meet Michael Myers himself! All of this pretty much sold me on checking the movie out at the Georgetown Drive-In on Saturday.
After selling me the idea, the Georgetown Drive-In has also decided to make this night a TRIPLE FEATURE!! So now, I can see Halloween 1, Halloween 2, AND Inglorious Bastards all in one night! There are no words to describe the excitement of such great night. It is going to be one heck of a show and this Halloween fan can't wait!
