It's a bit late, but they extended my job end date until May 31th instead and are talking about extending it further.
This is confusing, but I'm still get paid so what do I care? I'm helping train my replacement who doesn't want to do the job. He is not getting along with my supervisor (but no one really does). The two of them yelling at each other is actually pretty funny.
I just sit back and laugh. This office is pretty funny now. My replacement is freaking out and doesn't want me to leave. As long as they keep paying me I'll still be here (well until I find something else that is). If I find something before my end date it will be "See ya!" quickly. I am very truthful about needing time off for job interviews, job faires, that sort of thing. Let them tell me I can't have off to go to a job interview, I'll just turn in my laptop and be done with it. This job sucked anyway.
