(Because of a Mojo glitch all last night, this was originally posted 5 times with no text. Apparently, the issue is solved and I deleted all the blank posts. We now return to our regularly scheduled program, already in progress)
Umm, There are now 11 new baby kittens. I found one about 2 hours after we discovered the litter. It was walking along the outside of the carport! It's a survivor, for sure! It's another adorable DARK charcoal baby....not quite black like the other 2, but darker than most of them.
There are 2, one from each litter, that are lighter coated, lil tiger faces. Too cute!
As of last night, all 14 kittens (3 that are @ 5 weeks old and the 11 new ones) were sharing the same "nursery" (a huge cage that I keep the kittens in until they get a little bigger) and all 3 mamas are sharing nursing and grooming duties. It's so cute, I can't stand it. I was afraid the old mama would not take kindly to the new kittens, since they are her grandkittens, but she was nursing and grooming them earlier tonight! It's so, so sweet. Makes my teeth hurt!
