I'm a firm believer in speaking my mind and sometimes that can really jack stuff up, however I have found for the most part it serves me well.
I think being upfront and honest is extremely important and I respect people who are that way. This is also why I believe that the majority of my past girlfriends remain friends. Obviously I thought enough of them to date and that usually caries on unless they get all psycho and stupid, but fortunately for me that has rarely happened :)
I'm thankful that the women in my life are good people and subscribe to the golden rule and believe in Karma. I would do just about anything for a former girlfriend and am glad that so many are still friends!
