I read an interview with a famous business author in INC last night and a couple of things he said hit home in such a nice way. It's not anything any of us don't know, but personally, I'm always happy to be reminded. I'm paraphrasing here:
"When you understand that work is infinite, and time is finite, you come to realize that it's not your work that needs to be managed, but your time.
The world now throws a blizzard of information and demands at us. The greater part of success in these times is in deciphering what is truly important, and how everything you need to accomplish should be prioritized. You must put first things first and set everything else aside. To be successful in doing that, it's imperative that you have a laser-like focus on what NOT to do, those things you shouldn't be spending your time on."
