27. The grooming regimen expected of men is relatively cheap and consumes little time.

Men need that extra time so they can make money for their wife to spend or to climb the greasy corporate pole. Do women ever work overtime to make money for their husband to spend?

No one forces women to apply make-up or engage in intricate grooming. In fact, make-up and much of the beauty regime is largely deceptive. The fact that women can engage is such deceptive advertising and not be called out as liars is a clear sign of their privilege.

Should a man attempt to deceive a woman about his mate value he can expect serious repercussions if found out.

28. If I buy a new car, chances are I'll be offered a better price than a woman buying the same car.

If a woman buys a car chances are she will be spending her husband's money.

29. If I'm not conventionally attractive, the disadvantages are relatively small and easy to ignore.

Even the ugliest woman will have a status in society that cannot be taken away from her. A man's status must be earned and at any moment someone can take it from him and even knock him all the way down the hierarchy. Think of Elliot Spitzer.

30. I can be loud with no fear of being called a shrew. I can be aggressive with no fear of being called a bitch.

A woman can be loud and aggressive without fear of getting a beating.
Men who call women names lose status. Women who call a man names destroy that man's status.

31. I can ask for legal protection from violence that happens mostly to men without being seen as a selfish special interest, since that kind of violence is called “crime” and is a general social concern. (Violence that happens mostly to women is usually called “domestic violence” or “acquaintance rape,” and is seen as a special interest issue.)

Women are more likely to initiate domestic violence than men. They are increasingly relying on weapons and ambush to even the odds. Should a woman engage in violence she will automatically be viewed as the victim by police. Should a man defend himself against his wife's violence and he leaves any mark on his wife he will be arrested.

Should a man become a victim of his wife's violence there are few resources to help him or provide him refuge. Should he admit publicly to the abuse he will lose status.

The common belief that when violence happens in the home it is always the male as perpetrator is a myth. It can hardly be considered a privilege.

32. I can be confident that the ordinary language of day-to-day existence will always include my sex. “All men are created equal,” mailman, chairman, freshman, he.

For most of history women have enjoyed the privilege of letting men do the hard stuff. We have taken the risks and climbed the ladders, fought the wars, and now we have to take crap because women didn't even want to be mailmen or chairmen, for most of history? If the male gender appears in common language it is because we earned it!

33. My ability to make important decisions and my capability in general will never be questioned depending on what time of the month it is.

Women have the privilege of around 12 gender specific maladies that they can use to gain sympathy in criminal cases. Women have successfully defended murder indictments for PMS, Menopause, and on and on. Women also have the privilege of scorning men for asking if they have PMS and then later scorning men for not being sensitive to their PMS. WTF? Women perpetuate this stereotype for their own advantage and then blame men for it.

34. I will never be expected to change my name upon marriage or questioned if I don't change my name.

Ever heard the phrase, "Make a name for yourself"? Women have the privilege of not being required to make a name for themselves in order to have mate value.

When a woman marries a man she receives his name for free. Why shouldn't men question why a woman doesn't want his name? It is clearly an insult and indication that his name is not good enough for her.

Men have no choice but to give their name to a wife who may not take care and protect that name. What's more, once she has that name she has access to his credit and assets in a way that men do not.

Clearly, receiving a man's name is a female privilege and clearly her choice to refuse it is a privilege men do not have.

35. The decision to hire me will never be based on assumptions about whether or not I might choose to have a family sometime soon.

Businesses are in the business to make money and not engage in social welfare. Women who work and have children are more likely to take time off from work without any notice. This is a burden on that business and a justified concern for a business.

Women can easily solve this by having children when in their 20's, going to school when all the kids on in school, and then starting work when the children are teenagers and don't need constant attention.

Should a male take time off from work suddenly to care for children he will not be given the same consideration that a woman is.

36. Every major religion in the world is led primarily by people of my own sex. Even God, in most major religions, is pictured as male.

Every major religion subscribes to and enforces the concept of male disposability.

Christianity--Mother Mary--2.1 billion
Hindu--Laxmi--900 million

Clearly more than half the people on the planet subscribe to a religion where there is a female god or a female is a prominent figure.

37. Most major religions argue that I should be the head of my household, while my wife and children should be subservient to me.

Most major religions also socialize males to die for his wife and children and religion. No religion socializes women to die for the benefit of others. How oppressive it must have been in times where danger was omnipresent to serve the man who would die for you and your children.

38. If I have a wife or live-in girlfriend, chances are we'll divide up household chores so that she does most of the labor, and in particular the most repetitive and unrewarding tasks.

Chances are if I have a wife or live-in girlfriend I will be burdened with the majority of the bills. In fact, the more hours a week a woman works away from home the less work she does in the home and simultaneously the more work will be expected from the male. What's more, a man who makes twice as much as his female partner who works the same hours outside the home will be expected to do equal housework in the home.

Women often have the choice not to work and can stay home and enjoy automomy at home. What man can choose this?

A man who does housework receives less credit and more criticism for his efforts than a woman. Often the criticism is so much that he simply refuses.

Women's lack of appreciation for males who do housework and their harsh criticism means that women end up doing most of it. Clearly women's behavior needs to change but it's easier to blame men.

39. If I have children with a wife or girlfriend, chances are she'll do most of the childrearing, and in particular the most dirty, repetitive and unrewarding parts of childrearing.

If my wife has children I will have no option but to go to work. If she stays home and quits her job I will have to make up the lost income by working more hours away from home. I will denied precious time with my children so my wife can have uninterrupted time with them.

A poll of Canadian men revealed most would work less and stay home with kids more if their family could afford it.
