Job loss is all around now & I feel obligated to tell some of my story. Last fall I wasn't looking for an extra income, but accidently turned out that way. Unbelievable, a miracle for me. I am never the lucky one. Nicknamed, "lucy"! It started shortly after the passing of my mom. She was diagnosed with breast cancer and passed only a few weeks later. She was 84. Having a daughter who was asking for some girl things like cosmetics, skincare amongst other things; The last thing I wanted to do was shop. I just wanted to go home and try to make sense out of what just happened to mom. Did some research on breast cancer on internet. My daughter said I should look up Mary Kay. She said they support some good causes. She is just 16. I found one of their causes of interest to me was their contributions & support to cancer research. It was so easy getting what my daughter needed online. The prices were actually less than what I had been spending at the drugstore. And she was happy. So I treated myself too. Believe me, I was looking pretty tired & ragged. I was impressed with what I got,so I decided to get a starter kit. (had alot of product, mostly skincare & marketing materials & brochures. Thinking I could share my experience with the people around me I care about and we could celebrate just being girls. Not paying drugstore prices and get something of quality that works. My skin care has made my skin smoother with a more refined texture...healthier.My foundation glides on smooth & natural. Plus that occasional blemish I always get is under control. Since then I extended myself into the shower gels, gifts, fragrances & my man now using the men's line. My first 3 months I earned a Ruby of Success Ladder pin & prizes.
Oh did I mention...I am a Manager of a major business, which means I work very long hours and never much time for a normal life. Also no fratenization permitted, so I wasn't able to share my experience with coworkers! This became my outlet outside of work, that I could do on my own terms, using the internet I like to relax with & feel good supporting a good organization. Now reaping the benefits of getting my products at a discount while helping others. A Win Win.
