Sorry it has been a few weeks since I last wrote, but life has been what it is, and I have not seen many things around the neighborhood to talk about. One mundane but good matter to draw attention to is the new roof that Brown Noltemeyer is putting on the Bon Air Manor Shopping Center.
They cleaned the roof a few years ago and it really made the difference in the appearance of the place. It showed me a lot about what poor air quality does to white roofs.
However,it putting on the new roof says something positive in that they are going the extra mile this year in investing in the real thing.
I figure that they have the money and they probably got a good deal. Nevertheless, if you are looking to open a business in Bon Air Manor, the roof should be pretty good.
I figure when I go see Larry for my next haircut, he will tell me how the new roof will equal a higher maintenance fee for him and the existing businesses.
But in the end, kudos to Brown Noltemeyer . . . it at least shows me that you care.
It is a running commentary on the news and occurances and in the Bon Air and Highgate Springs Neighborhood. It also contains philosophical discourse on what the neighborhood needs for it to be vibrant and robust.
