Would love to have you submit a poem, short story or even a published novel to the 2nd Almost Famous Authors' Faire Writing Contest. It began on Jan. 15 and ends on March 15. So get writing and submit. It's only $10 to submit a poem or short story and $25 to submit a published work.
The winners of the unpublished arm of the contest will be announced March 27, 2010 at the second Almost Famous Authors' Faire being held from noon until 7:00 p.m. at the Green Tree Mall in Clarksville, IN.
AFAF judges await your creativity. Send your poems, short stories and published works on.
Hope to get to meet you at the second Almost Famous Authors Faire on March 27, and hope you get to take home $100, $75 or $50.
Be sure to share some of your talented writing with the judges for the AFAF Writing Contest. The first quarter of the contest runs from Jan. 15-March 15, with the top three unpublished winners being announced at the SECOND Almost Famous Authors' Faire, being held March 27 from noon to 7:00 p.m. at the Green Tree Mall.
The top three winners of the 1st quarter contest will go on to be judged against the top three winners from the second and third quarter winners. So one entry in the contest gives you a chance to win twice.
And the top overall thirty entries will be published by Bearhead Publishing in the AFAF's second book.
You can also enter the contest if you are a published author. There will only be one prize for published entries, however. Published winners will be announced at the Fall 2010 Almost Famous Authors Faire, being held in October or November of this year.

Just want to post this blog to let you all know about the SECOND Almost Famous Authors' Faire. It will be March 27th at the Green Tree Mall in Clarksville, IN. The hours of the faire are from noon til 7:00 p.m.
The first faire was held Nov. 7, 2009 at the Galt House Hotel. We had a lot of fun, steady foot traffic, and lots of personally autographed books went home to be cherished by readers.
So please mark your calendars for this important literary event. We can't have event of these in the Kentuckiana area. Don't you agree?

The SECOND Almost Famous Authors' Faire will be held March 27, 2010 at the Green Tree Mall in Clarksville, IN. The hours of the faire are from noon-7:00 p.m.
The first faire was held November 7, 2009 at the Galt House Hotel. We had a steady turnout and looks of autographed books went home. There were 52 authors on hand. And we even had strolling musicians to provide some extra entertainment.
The 52 authors that attended the first faire are being invited to join us at the second, and we are already receiving calls and e-mails from new authors, so we foresee having close to 100 authors at the Green Tree Mall.
The faire will begin with a cluster of authors in the center court by JCPenny's and stretch throughout the mall. Since this one is close to Easter, the Easter Bunny will also be on hand. And children are, of course, welcome. In fact, we had an eight-year-old author at the first faire, and she will likely be on hand at the SECOND Almost Famous Authors' Faire.
So mark your calendars! You don't want to miss this fabulous author/reader driven faire!
