Please Hold My Hand
When I gaze across this beautiful land
Please....,hold my hand,
When I walk across this great big world
Please....,hold my hand.
When I fight the evil of man kind
Please....,hold my hand,
When I'm looking for things hard to find
Please....,hold my hand.
When time passes every single day
Please....,hold my hand,
When I'm lost and led astray
Please....,hold my hand.
When I'm afraid and all alone
Please....,hold my hand,
When my heart has turned to stone
Please....,hold my hand.
When I'm gray and old of age
Please....,hold my hand,
When it's time to turn the page
Please....,hold my hand.
When I'm dying and I can't see
Please....,hold my hand,
These were the words you said to me
I've always held your hand.

you were thinking of your grandma when you wrote this huh. I know you loved her so much. I'm sure she is looking down on you right now and I'm sure she's very very proud. |

I've always wanted to be a writer.Being able to touch people with your words is a feeling beyond words.I lost a daughter in 93 to SIDS,(Sudden Infant Death Syndrom)she was a month and a half old.I lost my grandmother to cancer. No matter how much pain you suffer in this world there is always someone that has suffered worse. To all of those your not alone there are others that feel your pain.
The picture I have on this site is a picture of the cover of my book
I have published through Authorhouse.com
"To Touch the Heart"
I receive alittle over a 1.00 per book sold
I am donating portions of the proceeds from my book to
The American Cancer Society
and to the children who are less fortunate than others.
Life is so hard right now and I want to be able to help children that
doesn't have anyone.Every child deserves someone to love them and the feeling that there is someone that really does care.
Will you help me make a childs dream come true??
Check out Authorhouse.com and look for my book!!

A Childs' Question
Mommy where did my daddy go,
He left in his car and never came home.
Everyone's telling me I must be strong,
I wonder to myself if I did something wrong.
Tears have fallen and days have past,
I saw on the news about a bad car crash.
Mommy that looks like my daddy's new car,
The policeman said he'd just left a bar.
Mommy I ask is he ever coming back,
Life in prison is where my daddy's at.
Within five seconds two lives were taken,
A mother and child will never awaken.
A young man screams "Please Lord take me",
In prison forever never to be set free.
The lesson in the poem is don't drink and drive,
When you do you risk to many lives.

A Daughters' Last Words
Momma please help me I do not understand,
I can not feel your touch when you hold my hand.
I've always did the things you asked, I promise I was good,
I heard the doctors ask you if you understood.
I can see in your eyes that something's very wrong,
You looked at me and said that I must be strong.
I know in my heart that I 'm not going to last,
Please hold me mom,I feel I 'm fading fast.
The light that's shining so bright in my eyes,
Is this what happens when everyone dies.
I know it's my time for I've grown so cold,
I've always thought that I would grow old.
I'm sorry mom but it's time to say good-bye,
I'll always love you even when I die.
So wipe your tears and smile for me,
My souls' with God it's been set free.
