So, I wanted to start up a side business to make a few extra dollars. I started researching adult themed parties and the different companies that put them on. I went to a few different ones and told the ladies doing them that I wanted to market to the lgbt community as well as the straights and she told me that her company did not condone that and that she would tell them if I signed up. I called another girl that hosts parties with this company and she too told me that it was not right and that i shouldn't. I argued with both ladies till I was blue in the face and asked what the basis of this decision was... they could not give me a reason. I tried to explain that the lgbt community had these kind of needs just as much as the straight community... no dice! I did not, as I am sure you can assume, go with this company. I found a wonderful company that is open and has no problems with anyone enjoying a party... WTF? I was so shocked. It makes me so sad that still in this day and age and more importantly with women who say they are trying to liberate the bedroom, that this ignorance could still trudge forward... I have hosted a few wonderful parties now with some very wonderful people of all preference, age, sex, and color... and I am proud! Everyone needs something that feels good... ;)
