New bute alternative!

Everyone run out and get your copy of the new Equus magazine...lots of good stuff. What caught my eye (since I have an older horse with a chronic condition) is the article on the alternative to bute for horses with chronic injuries. It is a drug called Firocoxib. It is supposed to be easier on the horses liver and kidneys.
