A blacklist is a mark noting that someone is ignoring you. Your profile will show how many current blacklists you have. If you're blacklisted by members, you won't be able to hotbox those members, add comments to their photo galleries, or add comments on their blogs.
You can blacklist another member in a couple of different ways...
1. Choose the
blacklist link when reading a message from someone in your hotbox. Once you've done this, that person will no longer be able to write you via Mojo. However, if you've been silly enough to share your phone number or real email address, there's nothing we can do to help you with those.
2. You can blacklist another member when removing a comment they've made in your photo galleries or on your blog.
We don't encourage people to use this feature on everyone they don't wish to hear from, because it does add a smudge to their profile. However, if after ignoring the other member you find they're still bothering you, feel free to blacklist them.
Can you tell me who is blacklisting me? - No.
Should I whine about/question blacklists on the forums? - Only if you want to be ridiculed.
How can I tell who is blacklisting me? - If you attempt to send them a hotbox message, the system will tell you that they are ignoring you. If they're currently ignoring you, it will say so even before you get to type your message. But here's a hint: it's probably someone you've recently messaged!
Can I remove a blacklist I've placed on someone? - Yes, go into your
hotbox and choose the
blacklist link near the top of the screen.
Can Mojo remove a blacklist I received unfairly? - No, there is no such thing as an "unfair" blacklist. Anyone you write to has the right to blacklist you, just as you have the right to blacklist them.
I got tricked into responding to someone and they blacklisted me. Can Mojo remove it? - No.
