I have to say that I do like this place, but being a born and bred Louisvillian, having passes every year since I was like 12 and never missing a state fair; this place is snooze-ville! It would be fun to take people to who aren't from around here....but for me, it's worth the 2 hour drive to Kings Island.

It's definitely no Kings Island or Cedar Point, but it is close, convenient, and fun. Chang, Thunder Run, T2, all fun rides. Plus it will be interesting to see what they've done with the waterpark.

It's no Kings Island! I try to only go during the fair to people watch.

My first job was here. This place was awesome for the first 2 or 3 years I started going... then it got lame. They were hardly ever adding new rides and it is now aimed more at little kids than teens and adults. Yeah, yeah, yeah... I know... amusement parks are supposed to be for little kids. This park didn't use to be. Their kiddie land used to be almost nonexistant. I rarely go. Instead I got a season pass to Kings Island. It's only an hour and a half away, and the rides are MUCH better with something new EVERY year. Yes, Twisted Sisters aka Twisted Twins IS a roller coasterr whether you like it or not. ;P

I always have fun when I go to KY Kingdom. I'm a big coaster person & I really wish that place would get some more coasters though. When you compare it to other theme parks around it's not much. We can only ride Chang, T2, and thunder run so many times. (Note:The Twins or whatever it's called doesn't qualify as a coaster with me)

As a local attraction, KY Kingdom, is small, but an entertaining place to go. My kids love it! It's a good place to go without being a "huge ordeal" as other theme parks are, because you can basically go through the entire park in just 3-4 hours (including riding the rides). The Waterpark is our favorite place during the summer heat as it has many different attractions: wave pool, slides, 2 kids areas, lazy river, and a "water roller coaster". Also its a safer option for teenagers looking to hang out at night during the summer months. Great for all ages.
