Despite the neighboorhood that this Louisville staple is located in, it is definitely not to be missed if you are just visiting here. I am not big on betting on the races, but still had a blast when I went there. It also makes and interesting place for large business meetings and receptions. :)

Really, it's the one place that you want to take out-of-town guests to see. Cheap to get in, fun to hang out and bet. Plus the Derby, the one major thing our town is famous for. This place gets 5 stars just for hosting the Derby and being responsible for all of the pride, events, and fun the Derby brings to this city every year.

Even if you aren't a big gambler, it's fun to watch the horses race. Good atmosphere full of excitement and the indoor betting area, for the colder months, is a really nice option they just added.

Aside for the Derby, it's pretty cool! *lol* Alas, you haven't really experienced Derby until you've hit the infield. now THAT's fun.

Aside from the Derby & all the rich people. It seems we do have a venue that will draw all the old bands that decide to have reunion tours: (The Stones, The Police) :)
