Oldham County Ky

I just heard in the news today of a massive drug raid that took place in my hometown (where I was busted tending to some plants 4 years ago). Indictments were handed out to 30 individuals. The offenders: peaceful otherwise law abiding citizens, even harmless grandmas. The evil prohibitionist's intent was to execute this raid in an attempt to ruin these people's Christmas holiday, people who have never infringed on anyone's rights. The raid was code named “The Naughty List”.

So the war on plants and individual freedom over your own body rages on. This, on the cusp of the worst Christmas economy since the Great Depression (a time when alcohol prohibition was in its hay day). I can only imagine that the local governments, along with the rest of the US Government are devising every possible way to justify their huge bureaucracies and increase their revenue.

So far this war on PLANTS and personal freedom has waged on since 1937 and after billions off dollars spent, millions of lives ruined, millions incarcerated we have yet to even come close to “winning”. It's a war on the American people; a war on individual freedom; a war on an entire industry (hemp specifically). It's a totalitarian police state with no hint of letting up. Instead, now that American's have given into the idea of making plants illegal they now plan to let the government prohibit carbon dioxide (something plants need to survive). Not only that but American's feel confident enough in our totalitarian Government to hand over their own health freedom to a bunch of swine filth in Government hell-bent on controlling every aspect of our lives.

Their argument over drug prohibition is absolutely ridiculous. First, the majority of “drug users” (not including caffeine, tobacco, or alcohol) prefer marijuana: a plant that grows naturally in the wild. Most prohibitionist are under the impression that people under the influence of marijuana totally go crazy and violent; something that was instilled in their brains due to the Government ant-marijuana propaganda campaigns like Refer Madness in the 1950's. I've used a lot of marijuana myself, I'd prefer it to alcohol but for some reason it's ok destroy your liver, fall flat on your face, throw up in the toilet, pass out on the bathroom floor, hit on your boss at a work Christmas party, engage in multiple acts that you wouldn't otherwise do…..but smoke a joint or eat a marijuana brownie and veg-out on the couch watching tv is demonized by these “prohibitionists” and you must be locked up behind bars.

Another reason these evil “do-gooder prohibitionists” believe that we must lock up peacefull marijuana users is because it's a “gate-way drug”, meaning that if you use marijuana you're likely to go on to use cocaine or meth. The reality? Over a third of American's have used marijuana and it's the preferred “drug” by most Americans. If that's the case, where are all of these other “drug users”?

It's time we make America free again; real individual freedom where people can decide how to live their own lives, how to spend their own money, who they associate with and what they choose to put into their own body.

If you agree with me that the "War on Drugs" is actually a ridiculous war on the American people I urge you to join the non-profit organization LEAP (Law Enforcement Against Prohibition). These are current and former Judges, Prosecutors, lawyers, Police, DEA agents and individual citizens who were either born with a brain or somehow developed one after realizing America's failed War on Drugs. Anyone can join. I happen to be a member.

The self avowed communist and conspiracy theorist documentary film maker Michael Moore's new film Capitalism- A Love Story recently debuted in theaters across America this week. I was surprised to see that it had risen to the top of the charts in such a short period of time. I haven't seen it, nor do I plan to. I already know who he is and where the direction of the film would go. I've seen some trailers to it too.

It's quite ironic that he has been able to capitalize (that is to produce something that others would exchange their capital for resulting in a profit for himself) on bashing Capitalism. I actually feel sorry for the poor souls who wasted their hard earned money and time to go watch this movie. Shame on Moore for taking advantage of poor ignorant Americans while he sits back raking in millions and is fat and happy. Only in America can you be a successful Capitalist while at the same time bashing the very system that has risen your living standards more than any nation in the world. Apparently the movie ends with a clip of FDR (the most socialist president since Obama) laying out plans for an "economic bill of rights", I guess he had planned on eliminating private property rights which are real economic rights.

It saddens me to see so many positive reviews for this movie while the one movie that exposed the real problem that America is facing IOUSA that came out last August received very little. I think Moore and his poor followers need a little lesson in Austrian Economics and world history. Nothing good ever came out of Socialism, Fascism (what Moore really depicts in his film) and Communism. That has been well documented in world history, just ask a Russian, North Korean, North Vietnamese, Cuban, or German who was alive in the mid 20th century.

Where did Michael Moore call himself a communist? Are you just making that up?

I haven't seen the movie, and I'm not sure if I'm going to, but your judgment doesn't have any merit because you haven't seen it either.

I love capitalism, it's been pretty good to me so far. At the same time, I'm terribly cognizant that influence peddling, lobbying and the lack of accountability and checks and balances (on greed and power) have bent our system pretty badly.

Capitalism is great, but denying that it has problems, or blindly bashing anyone who might try to point out those problems ... come on.

There's a video of him on youtube where he praises Communism. I think it was right after the stock market crash. Plus his retoric is always anti Capitalist and pro Government intervention.

Capitalism isn't perfect but we're not living under Capitalism....we haven't for a long time. A true Capitalist system wouldn't allow a central bank to counterfeit money at a moments notice. A true capitalist system would have a governemnt that respected and protected private property rights instead of steal from one group and give to another. I define that as theft.

We currently live in a Fascist state where the government is in the pocket of big business and the Government has to rely on the Federal Reserve to counterfeit enough money to fund their social engeniering programs.

Maybe he should've named his movie "Fascism- a Love Story" and expose how Government intervention in the market and a fiat dollar standard are to blam for our misfortunes but I already know he doesn't because he's Michael Moore.

Greed isn't the problem. Greed by theft or fraud is a problem and we can only resolve that with a sound monetary system and limited Government that doesn't steal from one to give to another. Everyone has greed, or should I say that everyone pursues their own self interests. That's what's made America great- Freedom.
